The Conference is an international conference for humans who somehow work with the digital development (communications, music, games, movies, technology, etc.). Based on our three main themes: “Human behavior”, “New technology” and “Make it happen”, we invite everything from brain scientists and sociologists via engineers and makers to entrepreneurs and designers.
1000 people and 50 speakers participate in a two-day conference at Slagthuset in Malmö and another 3000 are involved in workshops, master classes and meet-ups organized by the local community during the week of The Conference.
Working with communications at The Conference means creating value and content for the participants and the community, year round. The big question is, what is The Conference, when it’s not a conference?
This internship suits you well if you’re up for the challenge of creating the world’s best source of knowledge and ideas about where the digital evolution is headed. You’re probably mad curious and have a great interest in the communications methods of now and beyond and already have great knowledge of the digital landscape of today.
During the internship you’ll work with prolonging the life span and audience for the 250+ recorded talks in our video archive. You’ll participate in the work of establishing the The Conference brand as a top-class conference/experience internationally. Our motto is to practice what we preach so we’re constantly trying out new ways of reaching out. For you, this means great opportunities to test your theoretical knowledge from school on a real case.
